A total ringer.....

How the heck is everyone?
Are you surviving in this crazy world that we are currently living in?
How are you holding up?

I for one am almost at my breaking point possibly, maybe, who really knows.  I still feel like I never know what day it is and time doesn't seem to even exist anymore.  In a blink of an eye, it is 6pm and everyone is crying that they are once again HUNGRY and want more food.  I swear I have never fed my kids as much as I have since we have been stuck in the house.  They are either bored so they are eating, growing like weeds, or just saying they are hungry because they know it drives me crazy.

LET'S  GET TO THE GOOD STUFF AND TALK BOOKS.....

What should we talk about?  How about the Wounded Soul's MC Series.  Like OMG, I am so glad that I found Leah Sharelle and her kick-ass men and even more kick-ass women.  I mean you truly can't have dropped dead gorgeous ALPHA MEN without the ladies who bring those men to their knees.  (Just got all hot and bothered over here....sorry).

So this week I read THE END on Book Six of Leah Sharelle's Wounded Soul's series and let me tell you I didn't want it to end.  I fell in love with each and every one of the characters that Leah created.  I even cried a time or two because my heart did break for ________ (read to find out who).  I get why it was done but it still makes me sad when a character you love ends up dying (crap I hope I didn't spoil something for anyone).  Ok anyway, back to the story....this was the perfect escape from reality.  I  should have been doing so many other things than reading like cleaning my house or doing my own homework but I would grab my kindle and curl up on the couch or my bed and just escape into the world that Leah created with the Wounded Soul's MC.  I am a little said that I read the words THE END on the last book but let me tell you Shilloh is still my number one girl and I am so glad we got her book.

The men of the Wounded Soul's and their women are everything and then some.  I truly enjoyed every book.    Definitely check them out.  I have attached the links below.  If you one-click let me know.

What day is it?

Does anyone else not know what day of the week
it is at any given time?

The days seem to just blur into each other...

Let's start off with book talk.....

I'm still reading The Wounded Souls series by Leah Sharelle and loving every minute of it.  I am so excited that I found her.  It is so hard being a blogger and seeing all the amazing book covers, blurb, and buy links posted all the time under the teaser posts I do for the blog.  I really have no control over my one-click finger and have been known to buys books just from the book cover alone - you can ask my BFF this as she yells at me all the time to stop one-clicking but some of the best books I have read have been purchased without reading the blurb or even knowing what the book was about.  My top "blind" book that I read is Whispers and the Roars by K. Webster.  Another blogger recommended the book but said you had to read it blind - well being the book whore that I am I took that challenge and read the book and OH MY - what a read.  Well, I just went to try and find my review for the book and it seems either I didn't write one (which is odd in and of itself), I wrote the review and never posted it (which happens occasionally), or I wrote the review/posted the review and it was deleted.  I have to go back into my notes folder and see if I have the review - this will drive me crazy now.

Anyway, I kinda got off track there for a minute.
 #sorrynotsorry
I did tell you in previous posts that I am losing my mind with this whole quarantine, work from home, homeschooling, and my own damn school work thing.  Here is kinda the only thing keeping me sane.

Ok, now back to my original thought.....
I have a tendency of one-clicking books for no particular reason at all.  If someone recommends a book, I one-click.  If I see a book cover that grabs my attention and has me saying I want to know more....I one-click.  Just browsing the teaser posts for my blog I find myself wanting to one-click the books I plan to share to you all on the blog.  To say I have a one-click problem is a complete understatement.  It is a problem and if my husband only knew how much money I have spent on books we might not be married anymore - wait....oh nevermind.

I promise, I really am not losing my mind.  I might be close but I am not there yet.  What kind of books do you like to read?  What would you like to see more of on the blog?  Did you know that I also have a book group on Facebook where we can chat from everything books to just general everyday stuff?  It's called ChasingBooksTogether and I would love for you to join.  The link will be below.  It kinda has been on a hiatus like the rest of my life but we are slowly getting things back on track so come on and join us and let's see if we can start a conversation.

That is all for today.  Thanks for catching up with me and we shall chat next time.....

REV

Raised in a strict Orthodox Jewish background, I defied my family by joining the military instead of attending Rabbinical School. Further, I joined an MC upon my return and raised the ranks to become the President.

I rule my club with an iron fist. Behind closed doors, I need to be controlled. Will Gabriella be the one to end my search? Will she be able to ignore the unethical things my club does and still control me the way I need?

GABRIELLA

I should be a lawyer, but the old school firm that I work for only seems to see me as the top paralegal. I love control and I’m not getting it at work no matter hard I try.

I’ve been in the underground world that most think is sexual deviance. But up to now, even that has been lackluster. I’ve never been able to find the right submissive. One that is strong and can test me but ultimately submit to me. Will Rev be the man that gives me what I need?

Admit it...I can't be the only one!

Today's post is brought to you by.....

Admit it...I can't be the only one!

I can't be the only one who reads naughty books...
I can't be the only one who has kids and a husband who drive her crazy but don't know what I would do without them...
I can't be the only one trying to juggle thirty thousand things at once and get nothing accomplished...
The list could go on and on and on....the struggle is real but...
I can't be the only one...

Ok so rant over....

Let's talk books....

Books are my escape from reality.  My happy place most of the time.  For a short period of time, I am able to escape into the world the author has created and just be.  Now sometimes I want to jump in the book and yell at the characters because they are being asses or I want to message the author and yell and scream for them killing the man I loved.  Oh, the drama of having book boyfriends.

So, I am currently engrossed in The Wounded  Souls Series by Leah Sharelle.  I am working on book four now and absolutely love the men, their women, and a special little girl named Shilloh.  I have a feeling I am going to be in a book funk once I read the last book in this series.  It is an MC series but not your typical MC style book with bad guys and guns and drugs.  These men of the Wounded Souls MC are prior military men all who have faced some hardship in one way or another and have formed a comradery by being a part of the Wounded Souls.  I love watching tough, ALPHA men being brought to their knees by strong-willed women.  Stay tuned for my review - I am waiting to write it as I plan to do one big review post and then break it down from there.

Tell me what are you reading now?  Who is your go-to Author that you one-click no matter what they write?   Comment below and let's talk...

Now as my seven-year-old would say:  Click that subscribe button, give me a huge thumbs up.

Be safe everyone and I will talk to you soon.

REVIEW: Claiming Tuesday ~ By Riley Edwards

Claiming Tuesday
By: Riley Edwards
5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When a man is on a mission he is going to let nothing stop him until he gets the end results that he wants.....

Riley Edwards has once again blown me away. I am so in love with The Next Generation boys and just when I think I can’t love another one more Riley brings us a new book.  Claiming Tuesday is everything and then some.  The story is all consuming and I devoured it and I truly mean devoured it within hours of starting. I was at the point that I didn’t want the story to end but I needed to keep reading because I was  so engrossed in the story.

Jackson is a man that I wish could be mine.  He is compassionate. He is all Alpha male with a soft side thrown in.  He is hot and sexy. He is possessive.  At the end of the day he is a true sweetheart and my heart swooned numerous times throughout Claiming Tuesday.

Now onto my poor Tuesday.  The girl had my heart aching for her from the beginning.  She has a kind soul but very few know the true her.  Her past is something she truly wants to forget but it still haunts her to this day.  The strength this girl had amazed me and I was cheering for her throughout even when she was being mean and unreasonable to sweet Jackson.

Tuesday is the game changer for Jackson.  When Jackson first sees Tuesday at a family gathering he knows his world has just changed.  Jackson’s pursuit of Tuesday is challenging none the less.  She is pushing him away and he is pushing her to open up and let him in.  The back and forth banter is comical at times and heartbreaking at others.  Throw in a twist and some suspense and Claiming Tuesday will leave you wanting more.

Claiming Tuesday nearly broke me.  Again I was so addicted to it that I didn’t want it to end.  Then don’t get me started on the ending.   Riley, you have me very intrigued about poor Delaney.   I need the next book STAT!!!

***Claiming Tuesday is LIVE***

a hot firefighter who knows what he wants and
will do everything to get it.

After years of struggling with alcoholism and drug abuse, I got clean and put my best foot forward. I became the man worthy of Lacey Parrish’s love and made the girl with the sad brown eyes my wife. But I’m not the only one in our marriage with demons. Diagnosed a manic depressive, Lacey struggles daily with her mind, never willing to succumb to the stigma of mental illness. The odds have always been stacked against us, but the stakes have never been this high. Pregnant with our child, Lacey is forced to choose between her mind and the baby we wished for. I can take pain, but I can’t take hers. Helpless and at the mercy of her illness, I turn to my past. It’s always our favorite sins that do us in. Leather. Lace. Me. Her. Suffering through hell, hoping love is enough for us to survive one more blackout. *A Satan's Knights MC Standalone*

.•´✶Excerpt-More Than Anything•´✶

Blackout ©Copyright 2019 Janine Infante Bosco Panting, she falls on top of me. Her perky tits press against my chest as she buries her face in my neck and whispers my name once more. Enjoying the high, I breathe in her sweet scent and wrap my arms tightly around her small frame. It doesn’t matter that I just came or that my dick is still swollen, pulsing inside of her, I’m already looking for another fix. Overdosing on Lacey wouldn’t be the worst thing to ever happen to me. Hell, I can’t think of a better fucking way to go. “Blackie,” she calls softly, running her fingers down my arm. “Hmm,” I murmur, flattening my palm against the small of her back. “We didn’t…” Her words trail as she lifts her head and turns her eyes to me. “You know,” she finishes, worrying her bottom lip between her teeth. Her gaze drifts to where our bodies are still joined, and the weight of her words penetrate through my haze filled head. I wait for regret to replace my high. For panic to fill her eyes. I wait and wait and none of it happens. She doesn’t scramble off me and I don’t move to lift her either. There is no mad dash to the bathroom to wash my seed from her. There’s just us and the possible promise of something beautiful hanging heavy in the air. “Blackie, say something,” she pleads. Lifting my hands to my face, I comb my fingers through my long hair, pushing it away from my eyes. With nothing obstructing my view of her, I take her in. I’ll never understand what the fuck she sees in me. She could have had her pick of men and yet she still chose me. Demons and all, the girl married me and took my name. Took a beaten down drug addict and gave him a purpose. A will to live and a goddamn future. Reaching out, I cup her chin. The pad of my thumb caresses her lower lip as my gaze trails down her body, settling on her flat stomach. For a second my imagination carries me away and I picture her pregnant. My throat clogs with a mixture of emotions as I let myself entertain the idea a little longer and it isn’t long before I’m envisioning her with a baby in her arms. My baby. I don’t deserve Lacey and I sure as fuck don’t deserve the honor of being anyone’s father. I’m a fucking criminal with a rap sheet that spans as many years as my wife has been on this earth. These hands of mine have been covered in blood and aren’t worthy of holding an innocent child. I’m a fucking addict too. So, I’m clean—big fucking deal. All it takes is one time. One fucking slip. Being an addict isn’t a choice. Addiction doesn’t go away because you got a woman thirteen years younger than you loving on you, wanting to give you a child. You’re not miraculously healed because you’ve done a stint in rehab and have a sobriety coach on speed dial. It’s a beast that lives inside of me and every day I open my eyes, I struggle to starve that fucking animal. Some days are worse than others. Like today. Today, I wanted to tie a tourniquet around my arm and shoot my veins from here to kingdom come. Instead, I came home and abandoned the weight of my burdens by sinking between my wife’s legs. I got lost in her sweet body and ignored the fact that the day I’ve been dreading is fast approaching. That day being the one when Jack Parrish loses his mind altogether and I take his place as the president of the Satan’s Knights MC.   He’s been grooming me for years. Instilling all his wisdoms and beliefs, sharing his vision for the club and making me lead in situations when he’s more than capable of leading himself. If you ask Jack Parrish if I’m ready to take his place, they’ll be be no hesitation, only conviction as he says yes. But no one ever asks me if I’m ready. Just like no one ever asked if I wanted the role in the first place. For as long as Jack has had the gavel, I’ve been his V.P., the man who sits at his right. The guy who stands between him and any loaded gun. I’ve sacrificed myself on the sword more times than I care to admit. I’ve thrown my sobriety down the toilet and have done more stints in jail than any other motherfucker with a reaper on his back. Loyalty, respect and honor—I’ve got it all in spades. I just don’t have a lick of it for myself. Focusing my attention back to Lacey, I draw out a ragged breath and lift my eyes to hers. Hope radiates from her dark irises and I swallow the lump in my throat. When Jack first took office, people called him a liability. They said a mentally ill man couldn’t possibly lead, that he’d act on impulse and recklessly get us all killed. Over the years, he proved himself. He took the hopeless pessimists and made them believers. If a deranged man can lead, then surely a recovering addict can follow in his footsteps. Maybe I can lead my brothers. Maybe I can be the man my wife needs me to be. Maybe I can be someone’s father. “You want a little Petra running around this house?” I ask hoarsely, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. God, if we have a baby, I hope she looks just like Lacey. Cocking her head to the side, she splays her palm against my cheek and smiles at me. “I want ten little Petra’s running around this house,” she replies softly. A laugh escapes the back of my tight throat. “How about we start with one?” Her eyes light up at the suggestion and the smile that spreads across her face makes me fucking feel invincible. Then again, drugs will do that to you. They’ll erase your pain and make you think you can conquer the world. “Yeah?” she questions, pushing her fingers through my hair. “You want to make a baby with me?” I want so much more than that. I want to give her the whole world. Every dream, every desire. I want to tie a perfect bow around them and give them to her. I suppose a beautiful baby is good place to start. “Yeah, girl,” I whisper hoarsely. “I want it more than you could ever know.” More than drugs. More than power. More than anything.
