When one woman won’t break and be what her captures want.....Isabelle is a fighter and I was in total awe of her strength and determination to come out alive.

An amazing conclusion to Braxton and Isabelle’s story. Oh my I wasn’t sure my heart was going to be able to handle this book. The twists and turns and OMG I was totally shocked (but after I thought about it things kinda made sense as to why) towards the end. Just Wow!

Rachael Tonks, I was shell shocked at the end of The Scars of You and was on the edge of my couch pretty much the entire time I was reading The Scars of Us.  I seriously didn’t know if my heart was going to be able to handle reading the book.  I was heartbroken for Braxton and damn Isabelle the things she endured just brought tears to my eyes at times. I felt every emotion they felt.  Oh and I might have had some anger issues towards some people too and wanted to smack them but...

The Scars of Us is a story about having Faith, Hope and Love even while being faced in unthinkable situations.  Braxton, in my opinion went through h@ll to try and find Isabelle and once she was found did everything in his power to protect her.  I just loved Braxton to pieces.  The Scar of Us brought tears to my eyes and was the perfect way to end Braxton and Isabelle’s story.  I hope we get to see more of Tara and Nate - there story I can foresee being an interesting one.

On a side note: This book is definitely not for the faint of hearted - there is death, blood and guts and some not so consensual stuff (but is all part of the story that is needed in my opinion).

Author Bio:

Rachael Tonks is a contemporary romance author with a love of books, and a particular love of the romance genre. As a child Rachael could always be found with her head in a book, but it wasn’t until the beginning of 2015 when Rachael’s love of books really took over. Reading spurred on her desires to put pen to paper, and write down the story of the characters screaming for their story to be told. Starting out her career with a new adult romance novel, she has now published multiple novels, ranging from dark romance to contemporary. Rachael lives in the steely suburb of Sheffield, in the north of England with her family. She has 3 beautiful children and a crazy dog. She loves nothing more reading with a good cup of tea and is self-proclaimed chocoholic!
